We understand that critical environments need specialized solutions. With this in mind, we carry a line of technical seating that ensures the integrity of a sensitive environment, while at the same time protects the well being of its employees.

You will find a number of seating options that are perfect for any industrial environment, including ESD and cleanroom. Cleanroom chairs are manufactures using Gore®- Tex like filters which allow the chairs to breathe when the seat is compresses, while at the same time controlling emissions.

Static Control (ESD)
This ensures complete static drainage through the use of special ESD upholstery materials (vinyl or fabric), conductive casters / glides and exposed surfaces of chrome plated steel, stainless or cast aluminum. Conductive adhesive is also applied to the chair seat and back pans while adding two meg OHM resistors. The completed chair is then subject o an ESD discharge test. A megometer with two probes is activated and must range between qo (6) and 10 (9) OHMs to pass. Test results, including relative humidity and temperature are recorded and included with each chair. ESD / cleanroom upholstery uses advanced materials layered with outside vinyl surface and unexposed carbon underneath. Duratech 2 uses impregnated polyurethane for conductive and a drag chain to complete the electrical path to the floor.

Cleanroom Seating
Strategically placed micro membrane filters trap particulate, and allow proper air flow through the chair to prevent steam blow- by. Unique seat and back foams combined with precise upholstery process, ensure comfort without risk of a particulate emission. Specialized componentry such as non- outgassing foams, mechanisms shrouds, advanced air filtration and stainless metallic casters are used depending on the class of cleanroom seating. All pivot points use bushings and are sealed to prevent particle fall out. Elimination of sharp edges, burrs and pinch points protect against glove / gown puncture.
