 Postural support and a stretching and flexibility tool – all in one!
The BodyBolster™ is a back support as well as a flexibility and conditioning tool which is adjustable to fit any body shape and size. The BodyBolster is made from Torflex™, a soft, latex-free medical grade PVC that gives it malleability and a comfortable skin-like feel. What makes the BodyBolster unique is its adjustability—a valve allows you to deflate it with a squeeze, and with another twist of the valve it self inflates—there’s no need to blow it up!

An ergonomic working environment is a good start, but anyone sitting at a desk for prolonged periods is still likely to slump and assume poor posture in an attempt to get comfortable.

This is because people need to vary their posture during the course of the day, as well as get support.

Chairs don’t factor in the natural behavior of people or their individual size. In fact, they encourage static sitting positions, exacerbating stiffness, pain and strain. The BodyBolster offers ‘active’ postural support and furthermore drives a behavior that encourages frequent movement, even as you sit. What is 'active' support? Unlike most supports which are foam or padded, the BodyBolster is air filled. This means that no matter where you place it, you will engage in micro-movements that strengthen the body area as you support it.

What makes the BodyBolster so right for people?
When placed in the lumbar, the BodyBolster creates the three natural curves of the spine, and engages core muscles, strengthening as it supports. Its malleability makes you aware of your body’s need to adjust, and encourages you to stop, stretch, and replace it in a new position. This keeps the body moving in a natural and healthy way.
 The BodyBolster is more than a lumbar support - you can place it vertically to align the angle of the chin, neck and shoulders, or horizontally in the low back, mid back or high back positions to support and activate micro-movements. Every new assumed position provides the body with an opportunity to stretch or relieve tension and to target body areas that need support.

Performance Data:
The BodyBolster is tested to withstand 320kg (700lb) of pressure without bursting. Flash point 441° F (227°C). Crystallizing point -58°F (-50°C)

Creases:
If a BodyBolster is left in a deflated or rolled up state for more than a few days, creases may appear and it may lose its shape. To regain its normal appearance, release the valve to fully inflate it and blow into the valve for extra air. Close the valve and immerse in warm (not hot) water for about fifteen minutes.

Cleaning:
Clean your BodyBolster with soap and water, brand name household cleaners are safe for removing marks and stains, but avoid solvents like white spirits.

Unlike other postural support tools it provides ‘active’ support, because it is air-filled and molds to your body, encouraging healthy joint movement. What is 'active' support? The air inside the BodyBolster keeps you moving with slight micro-movements, building the area as it supports you.
