Basic SmartBench™ (shown with drawer, footrest and leg extender accessories)

Metro SmartBench™ features a higher  level of accessories, designed to adapt to virtually  any work or process scenario.  Ergonomic swing-arm accessories, allows for quick and easy bench customization for  maximum productivity.  Choose from wide range of accessories to customize a bench for your application.  Create an environment designed to let them excel.

Square tubular frame design ensures strength and rigidly of bench.

T-mold edge protects work surface from damage.

C-channel upright design allows accessories to be positions at any point.  Wire grid and / or accessories can be mounted on back side of uprights.

ESD laminate includes two built-ESD banana jacks to provide bench ground for ESD wrist straps. 
 

Workbenches
Basic bench consists of legs (4), rails (2), top (1) and hardware.  Bench frame and all accessories are made from 14 gauge steel and are finished in a black, semi-gloss, powder-coating, unless otherwise indicated.  Standard laminate, ESD laminate, ESD laminate and drawer face are gray.

Note 1:  All benches are unit packed.
Note 2:  ESD tops are static dissipative.  ESD have a surface resisitivity of 10(6)-10(9) ohms / sq. per ASTMD257 and meet the requirements the requirements of FTM 101G, Method 4046 for static decay (5000-volts = 0.05 seconds).
Note 3:  Weight capacity for work surfaces-1,000 lbs. (453kg) evenly disturbed weight.

Note 1:  Starter drawers (6" 7 12" [152 7 305mm]) include drawer and mounting kit.  Add-on drawers do not require mounting kit for mounting.  Drawers comes standard with gray laminate face.
Note 2: Light assembly includes light fixture, mounting arms, and hardware.
Note 3: Solder spool holder and tool storage holder mount on bin rail (Cat. No. MSA-BR60/MSA-BR72).
Note 4: Tool track  and trolley requires overhead mounting arms for mounting of uprights.
Note:  Wire cantilevered shelf can be pitched or placed horizontally utilizing the same mounting brackets.  Oversized bins or totes may be placed on the 12" (305mm) deep shelf since there is no back ledge.
